Technology, Software & Information

Growth here is measured in demos booked and qualified sign-ups.

The three places growth usually leaks in technology

  1. Sign-ups come from companies of the wrong size.
  2. Pages describe features while buyers search for the problem.
  3. The pipeline lives in a spreadsheet nobody trusts.

These are the first things we test, not findings about your business.

A technology marketing agency helps a software, IT services or hardware company get demo requests and sign-ups from buyers of the right size and need, instead of a pipeline full of accounts that never convert. Tessmont builds that system and reports it in Command as demos booked and qualified sign-ups, by source.

Why are so many sign-ups from companies we cannot serve?

Broad campaigns and general content attract students, very small teams, competitors and people researching a topic. They sign up, never activate, and make the funnel look busier than it is.

The approach starts by writing down the ideal customer in plain terms: company size, industry, the role that feels the problem, and the systems they already use. Pages, campaigns and forms are then shaped to attract that buyer and to let others rule themselves out. The hypothesis the first review tests is whether qualified sign-ups rise even if total sign-ups fall.

Buyers search for problems. Why do our pages list features?

Product teams naturally describe what they built. Buyers search for what is going wrong: reconciliations taking too long, tickets piling up, a compliance deadline, a manual process that breaks at scale. A page that leads with features is often not found and, when found, does not answer the buyer's question.

The work collects the phrases buyers use on sales calls and in support tickets, and writes problem-first pages around them, each ending in a clear next step. Features appear as the answer, not the headline.

How do we get a pipeline we can trust?

In many growing technology companies the pipeline lives in a spreadsheet or a CRM that nobody updates. Marketing reports leads, sales reports deals, and the numbers never reconcile.

Command records each demo request and sign-up with its source and stage, using agreed definitions of a qualified account. Marketing and sales then look at the same monthly report: demo requests by source, qualified sign-ups and cost per qualified demo.

Is this different for IT services and agencies?

Yes. Services firms sell expertise and capacity, not a product, so the unit becomes discovery calls with qualified prospects, and proof comes from the problems solved rather than named logos. The same problem-first approach applies, written for the buyer's industry.

What the first ten days produce

  1. Write the ideal customer profile with the founders and sales lead, and agree what makes an account qualified.
  2. Pull the phrases buyers use from recent sales calls and support tickets and pick the first problem pages to write.
  3. Set up Command to tag every demo request and sign-up by source and qualification, so the first review starts from one set of numbers.

Do you work with product-led and sales-led companies?

Both. For product-led growth the focus is on qualified sign-ups and activation; for sales-led companies it is on demo requests and meetings with the right buyers.

Can you market to buyers outside India?

Yes. The plan covers the market, time zone and buying process of the target buyer, and pages are written in US English.

Do you write technical documentation?

No. Documentation stays with the product team. The work covers pages, campaigns and content written for buyers and decision makers.

What do you need from us?

Access to the CRM or pipeline sheet, analytics, a few recorded or summarized sales calls, and time with whoever closes deals today.
