A local services marketing agency helps a salon, repair business, cleaner, pest controller, photographer or other neighborhood service turn nearby searches and calls into booked jobs, without depending on a single directory. Tessmont builds that system and reports it in Command as job inquiries and booked jobs, by service and area.
How do I get booked jobs without paying a directory for every lead?
Directories and lead apps are a quick way to get work, and many local businesses end up relying on one of them. Over time the price per lead rises, the same lead is sold to several competitors, and the customer belongs to the platform.
The approach builds a route the business owns: a complete Google Business Profile, a simple website or page for each main service and area, and a WhatsApp booking route. The directory stays while it pays. The hypothesis the first review tests is whether owned routes can carry a growing share of booked jobs at a lower cost per job.
What happens to calls that come in while we are on a job?
The owner or technician is often up a ladder, under a sink or with a client when the phone rings. A missed call is frequently a customer who calls the next name on the list.
The work sets up a response for missed calls: an automatic message on WhatsApp or text that acknowledges the call, offers a booking link or a callback time, and logs the inquiry in Command so someone follows up. Time to first reply and missed-call recovery become part of the monthly report.
We have good reviews. Why doesn't Google show us?
Local search ranks businesses on relevance, distance and prominence, and the profile itself matters: the right categories, services listed in the words people search, service areas, photos of real work and recent, steady reviews with replies.
The plan completes and maintains the profile, asks every satisfied customer for a review at the right moment, replies to every review, and adds real photos regularly. Tessmont does not buy, write or filter reviews; every review comes from a real customer.
What would Command report each month?
Job inquiries by service and area, booked jobs, missed calls recovered and the cost per booked job, with directory jobs shown separately from owned-route jobs so the owner can see the balance shifting.
What the first ten days produce
- Complete the Google Business Profile: categories, services, service areas, hours and real photos of recent work.
- Set up a missed-call reply on the main business number and start logging every inquiry in Command.
- Start asking recent satisfied customers for reviews, with a direct link, and reply to every existing review.
Is this worth it for a one-person business?
Often, yes. A single technician loses the most from missed calls and a weak profile, and the first changes need little time to run.
Do you cover more than one area or branch?
Yes. Each branch or service area gets its own listing and page where the business genuinely serves it, and Command reports areas separately.
Do you write fake reviews?
Never. Reviews come only from real customers, asked at the right moment, and every review gets a reply.
How do you price?
How we price is set out on one page, at /pricing/.
